Small Batch hydrosols made from native, naturalized and locally cultivated plants
The mission of Wildcraft Urban is to restore our relationship with wild, native, edible, and medicinal plants. We promote the practice of learning in the natural places around us, and then planting and working with these plants in our gardens, schoolyards, community lands, and anywhere the soil calls. The art of distillation is an incredibly connecting process that has helped us to dive deeper into relationship with the plants as a whole. The opportunity to engage with the aromatics of the plants through hydrosols allows us to expand our experience of them in our daily lives. It creates a circular or reciprocal relationship. We envision a world in which we, as humans, begin to blend back in and work with the terrain around us, reclaiming our small part in the majestic whole that is Mother Nature herself.
